Back home before heading to Iceland early on Friday.
Today I’ve been checking over my “Photographers’s map” of Iceland which I found. As well as being a map, it shows locations particularly of interest for photos. It’s my first trip to Iceland, so I’m planning a route that will take me to some of the “classic” locations- Kirkjufell, the Golden Circle, the south coast waterfalls (Seljandsfoss, Skogafoss and a couple more), the glacier lagoons at Jokulsarlon and Breidarlon, and a few more other places en-route, finishing with a couple of nights in Reykjavik.
If all goes to plan, the trip will cover the west and south of Iceland – north/east locations just as Myvatn will wait for a future trip.
